What is the Thrive4LifeWI study about?

While enrolled in the Thrive4LifeWI study, you will have the opportunity to work with our Prevention Navigators to make progress towards your goals and address your concerns. These goals may include gaining health insurance, being prepared if someone overdoses, accessing medicated assisted treatment, receiving hepatitis C treatment, housing or transportation resources, and much more. Below you can see the easy step-by-step process.

  • Help you build community connections.
  • Use a client-centered approach to harm reduction.
  • Help you receive the services you need.

How long does the Thrive4LifeWI study last?

If you enroll in the Thrive4LifeWI study, your participation will last about 6 months.

We will ask you to complete 3 study visits and up to 4 Prevention Navigation sessions. The first visit will take place upon enrollment, the second visit in 3 months, and the third in 6 months. The Prevention Navigation sessions will take place over 3 months between your first and second study visit.

What are the study activities?

  • Rapid testing for HIV and hepatitis C at each visit. 
  • Completing an online survey at each visit.
  • Up to 4 Prevention Navigation sessions.

Will I be compensated for my time?

Yes, you will receive $20 after completing each study visit.

Where do the study visits take place?

Each study visit will take place at your local Vivent Health office. You can complete the study survey on your own computer or mobile device before your study visit if you would prefer.

Prevention Navigation sessions may take place at your local Vivent Health office, over the phone, through video call, or at an agreed-upon location in your community.
